Welcome to Rune Martial Arts

Rune is the continuation-rebranding of our previous academy Fighting Fit Mixed Martial Arts which had to be closed for over a year in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.

We offer classes in Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) for adults in a safe and friendly environment.

Our training methods provide students with effective martial arts skills, fitness development, and improved self-confidence.

We run a full-time, fully equipped, and permanently matted academy for use by our members.

Our academy roots were first established as Fighting Fit Martial Arts in January 2007 and we are affiliated to Neto Nunes (The Gauntlet Fight Factory London) for our BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu).
We also cater for corporate and small group training and individual private tuition.

Update on current academy status and our plans moving forward – 06-09-2023

Following our transition from FFMA to Rune we are now 90% complete on our process of re-building our academy. We intend to complete the minor 10% of refurbishment plans of our new premises by spring 2024. We now provide the structured classes and open mat sessions shown on our timetables. We are also currently looking to re-establish the children’s BJJ classes.
